The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has launched a consultation on two draft amendments governing open-ended investment funds with a public offering. The proposals would revise the reporting rules for these funds and the regulatory capital framework for their management companies, continuing the authority’s implementation and refinement of the statutory regime introduced under the Law on Open-Ended Investment Funds with a Public Offering. The first draft would amend requirements for the content and submission deadlines of monthly, semiannual and annual fund reports. The second would revise Article 7 of the rules on regulatory capital for management companies. The authority will finalize the rules after reviewing comments.
