The Qatar Financial Centre and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen commercial and investment ties between Qatar and the United States and support U.S. companies establishing or expanding operations in Qatar and the wider region. The partnership will focus on wealth and asset management, fintech, digital assets and enterprise technology. Joint programs and business dialogues will connect U.S. companies with opportunities in Qatar and provide insight into their expansion priorities. The first initiative under the agreement was an executive roundtable in New York on regional growth, cross-border expansion and the regulatory, economic and technological factors affecting business decisions. More than 350 U.S. companies already operate through the Qatar Financial Centre platform.
